A stunning, large and extremely fast growing palm native to Fiji and Wallis and Futuna Islands north of Fiji, where it is found in wet or swampy areas but becoming increasingly rare in its natural habitat. Essentially a child of the tropics, it is not a fussy palm but demands a spot in bright light and requires ample water.
