SHUZENJI, SHIZUOKA, JAPAN - 2015/09/05: Amanita caesarea, commonly known as Caesar's mushroom, is a well regarded edible mushroom of the genus Amanita, native to southern Europe and North Africa. Its nickname derives from the fact that Amanita caesarea was a favorite of early rulers of the Roman Empire. This type of mushroom has a distinctive orange cap, yellow gills and stipe.
