Large print of Russula sanguinea, from a watercolour painting by Peter Thwaites, a commissioned artist to the British Mycological Society.

The original painting was scanned and prepared for printing by his wife, Christine, at home on their own equipment. It was then printed by Advantage Digital Printers in Dorchester. Each print is signed by the artist and embossed with his personal stamp before dispatch.

The prints can be trimmed to a square format as illustrated or left in their larger oblong format as printed.

A set of 12 different prints was originally produced for a large international mycological conference in Edinburgh in in 2010 and proved very popular with delegates. They have continued to be popular, making an impact in sets along a corridor, up a staircase or in other large spaces.
