Distribution and Habitat

Augusta to Nannup, growing in sandy soils in forests and woodlands, flowering best in the season following summer fire.

Description

An impressive, large flowered subspecies 300–600 mm high with a hairy leaf 120–200 mm long by 6–10 mm wide and up to three creamy-white flowers 120–180 mm across. It has exceptionally long petals and sepals.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the similar subsp. longicauda by its longer petals and sepals.
