Distribution and Habitat

Reagans Ford to Albany, growing in sandy-clay and lateritic soils in forests and woodlands.

Description

A common subspecies 300–600 mm high with a hairy leaf 180–250 mm long by 5–15 mm wide and up to four creamy-white flowers 60–90 mm across.

Distinguishing Features

It is distinguished from the subsp. clivicola, with which it sometimes grows, by its larger flowers and longer labellum fringe segments.
