How to fertilize Portulaca oleracea 'Variegata'
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Portulaca oleracea 'Variegata' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Got him in a parking lot… This is my new little guy Ace! My girl at Ace was hooking me up with some terracotta and told me to go in the parking lot by the succulents and pick up any babies that were growing before the weed killer was going to be sprayed the next day! So now I have this cutie! I looked at everyone’s pics and wow - so different! So best way to pot this cutie? Is he a creeper? #Purslane

It's getting dry... I don't know why... #Purslane

Rosemary Rosemary doesn't look so good. Not sure what's wrong, any ideas? Still green but starting to brown/wilt. Soil still moist. Trying to let it dry out a bit.

Will she eventually bloom? I've got her hanging on my front porch

Is this a common purslane? Greg identified my plant as a common purslane but it doesn’t look like one to me because the leaves are so thick.

Some of the older leaves are turning yellow. Do I take them off or do I let them get crispy?

What’s wrong with my Ihi? What is wrong with my ihi? The leaves are starting to droop and turn yellow/brown and completely fall off. I’m only watering once about every 12 days or so. Could it be getting too much sun? Should I try to repot with different soil? #leavesfalling #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove

Help my Portulaca lost all its pedals!! I live in Dallas and moved her inside due to the cold weather. I placed her close to an East facing window. Last time I brought her in, she had the same reaction. Could it just be shock? The stems look fine, she’s not due for watering yet. Hopefully it’s merely a case of shock since the cold front, I had to bring her inside and just a few weeks ago she was thriving in the warm sunlight. Any tips since it’s cold out, and with winter coming I’ll be keeping her indoors. Close to a window… which is better sunlight better east or west??

What other plant parents say
They are really easy to grow and only need a weekly watering or so. They grow very quickly too and need quite a lot of sun. However, they bloom very easily and flowers are purple and yellow which are very pretty! (but the flowers only last a day)
