Faucaria tigrina and F. felina v. tuberculosa

Post by CoronaCactus »

These 2 happened to be in flower tonight, albeit a bit late on the specie... But thought it would make for a nice comparison with the japanese cultivar "SATO"

They are just starting to flower, and will go on till December. I have 15 different Faucaria's, they are great plants.

I thought the Super Warty were a form of F. tuberculosa, but could be wrong

and have not heard the name Sato,

Sorry, you're right Craig. I was going on bad memory

F. felina v. tuberculosa 'SATO' is what it came as. I recall checking the name SATO and I guess I found it good, but can't seem to find much in my quick re-search just now.

Here are mine this afternoon Darrel,
The big one in back and the smaller one on the right are tigrina then the grayish one on the right I think is felina and tuberculosa is on the left. The leaves on my F. tuberculosa deffinatly look longer and not as blunt.
I tried to get close ups but they turned out blurry :?
