This little member of the
Asphodelaceae family was given this name by Hans Schinz in 1902. It
is found in Namibia and western South Africa, growing in a well drained soil with little to
some water and lots of sun. The leaves will reach 20 centimetres the
rhizome six.
The flowers are rather dark yellow.
The genera name means 'bulbous'. The species is named after the
area it is found in. |
