Also called Vallota Speciosa and Scarborough Lily, this beautifull Amaryllis relative is native to the cape province of South Africa.  I have been unable to get these for about a decade.  They are out of commecial production.  Since the most common color for this species is red, I assume these are red.

These bulbs are small, round and about 1 cm across (not side chips).  They could bloom after a good growing season or two.  Can be grown outside in zones 9+, or brought inside for the winter in colder areas.  Plant shallowly in well drained soil.
